About Bill Wren's Towing

Bill Wren’s Towing has been servicing the City of San Francisco for over 40 years.  Bill Wren, himself, started the company with one tow truck back in 1968.  Over the course of time, Bill and his wife Teresa owned 3 Shell Stations here in San Francisco and ran the towing company out of the Shell Station located at 19th Ave and Lincoln.  Here they ran a repair shop along side of the gas station.  Bill Wren joined CSAA during the 70’s. Bill Wren’s Towing has been providing CSAA members with service ever since.

Along with the CSAA auto club business Bill Wren’s Towing had provided service to other auto clubs as well as providing service to local businesses in San Francisco.  Time had passed and they sold the gas stations in the early 90’s. Bill & Teresa kept the towing portion of the business. They shifted their company into a new direction as towing became the only line of business.  Both Bill & Teresa Wren became more active in the towing industry and were able to grow the company and provide service to CSAA customers now in the city of San Francisco and Daly City.

New management came into the business in 2004, still under the ownership of Bill & Teresa Wren. With the growth of the company and the changes from the new management the towing company took on a new direction and joined CSAA in providing customers with mobile battery service.  Bill Wren’s Towing continued to grow over the years to come and in 2007 Bill & Teresa decided to retire. The management team of 2004 took over ownership and continued to make changes.

In November 2008, Bill Wren’s Towing joined many other CSAA towers of California and became a Preferred Service Station Provider.  Today Bill Wren’s Towing continues to grow and achieve new goals under new ownership.
